Travel ER Registered Nurse opportunity in Boston, MA — 13-week Emergency Department (ED) assignment at a leading medical center; BLS & ACLS required.

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for a 13-week travel nurse assignment at a top medical center. Job Details
- Location: Boston, MA 02115 – Work in a renowned medical district; ideal for candidates searching Boston nursing jobs and Massachusetts healthcare opportunities.
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Shift: 12-hour shifts; rotation of nights and days (4 weeks nights followed by 4 weeks days or vice versa)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site
- Number of Openings: 3 ER RN positions
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020-$2130/week
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active RN license with Emergency Room specialty; must be authorized to practice in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience required (triage and acute care experience preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Availability to work every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and emergency nursing skills
- Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings, immunizations, and skills checklist)
Responsibilities – Emergency Department (ED) / ER RN
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care in a fast-paced, high-volume ED
- Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and emergency interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, and ancillary staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up resources
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and workplace safety procedures
