Job Details

• Location: Boston, MA 02115 – Work in a renowned medical district; ideal for candidates searching Boston nursing jobs and Massachusetts healthcare opportunities.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Shift: 12-hour shifts; rotation of nights and days (4 weeks nights followed by 4 weeks days or vice versa)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site
• Number of Openings: 3 ER RN positions
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020-$2130/week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license with Emergency Room specialty; must be authorized to practice in Massachusetts.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience required (triage and acute care experience preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Availability to work every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and emergency nursing skills
• Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings, immunizations, and skills checklist)

Responsibilities – Emergency Department (ED) / ER RN

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care in a fast-paced, high-volume ED
• Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapy, and ancillary staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up resources
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and workplace safety procedures
