• Compensation: Estimated weekly salary range of $1800-$1890/week

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a valid compact state license (RN license)
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience (ICU experience highly desired)
• Experience in Long-Term Acute Care, step-down, or critical care settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans
• Provide skilled clinical care for complex LTAC patients, including ventilator management and wound care when applicable
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), providing direction and clinical support
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs with a focus on patient education, functional outcomes, and discharge planning
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission to support successful transitions of care
• Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity and patient safety
• Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to facility policies and safety protocols
• Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in unit team-building and quality improvement activities
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain clinical competency
