• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and other units as needed
• Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800 - $1890 per week

Job Requirements (Med/Surg RN)

• At least 2 years recent Med/Surg RN experience with 1 prior travel assignment, OR 4 years Med/Surg RN experience without travel
• Active RN license: Georgia RN or valid compact state license (compact RN accepted)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)
• ASLS or NIHSS Certification required for Med/Surg unit
• Ability to work flexible assignments and float across units (Ortho, Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care)
• Meditech EMR experience preferred (experience with hospital EMRs/clinical documentation is a plus)
• Must be available every other weekend and rotate holidays with permanent staff
• Strict 75-mile radius rule applies (travel nurse compliance required)

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care on the Medical/Surgical unit (Med/Surg nursing)
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, monitor condition changes, and document progress in Meditech EMR
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and other units as required by the labor pool
• Support and mentor nurse aides and unit support staff when needed
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and comply with hospital policies and infection control standards
• Demonstrate adaptability to changing assignments and acuity during night shift rotations
