- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
- Weekend/Holiday: As needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1970–$2110/week
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapy experience (no new grads)
- Outpatient Orthopedic experience required
- Oncology Physical Therapy experience required — experience with cancer rehabilitation, survivorship care, and lymphedema management preferred
- Previous travel PT experience highly preferred
- Active New Hampshire or Compact Physical Therapy License (must be in hand at submission)
- American Heart Association BLS certification (active)
- EPIC and Expro EMR experience required
- Competency in standard PT modalities (Estim, Ultrasound, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy)
- Ability to treat a diverse adult patient population across the cancer continuum (diagnosis, rehabilitation, survivorship, palliative care)
- Must have own vehicle for assignment
Primary Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with cancer-related impairments including pain, fatigue, decreased mobility, and lymphedema
- Develop individualized, evidence-based oncology rehabilitation and exercise programs
- Conduct 60-minute evaluations and 30–45 minute one-on-one treatment sessions
- Manage musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular needs across the cancer continuum
- Provide patient and family education on exercise, mobility, energy conservation, and self-care strategies
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately in EPIC/Expro EMR systems
- Utilize appropriate assistive devices and standard PT modalities to optimize functional outcomes
