Job Details

• Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift / Travel RN
• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237 (Southside Indianapolis)
• Setting: Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) — critical care nursing
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday nights)
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel RN / ICU nurse job)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1890/week

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse) — state of Indiana or compact RN preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / critical care RN experience
• Strong comprehensive assessment skills and critical thinking
• Experience caring for septic and mechanically ventilated patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to float to other inpatient areas as needed
• Preferred: Experience with CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy) and Epic EMR
• Team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, and empathy — excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU, including sepsis, respiratory failure, endocrine and psychiatric comorbidities
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized critical care plans
• Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation and advanced hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Administer evidence-based interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other inpatient units as required based on census needs
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach at all times
