Travel ER RN – Vicksburg, MS | 13-week assignment starting March 30, 2026. Provide critical, high-acuity care in a fast-paced Emergency Department while enjoying life along the Mississippi River.

- Location: Vicksburg, MS 39183 (Vicksburg, Mississippi)
- Position Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN — Emergency Department (ED) / ER
- Assignment Type: Travel (13 weeks)
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- End Date: June 29, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,390 - $1,460 per week
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) / ER RN experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- CPI or SAMA (Crisis Prevention Intervention or equivalent) certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency and critical care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and ER protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving interventions as ordered
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Respond effectively to trauma and emergency situations, following ACLS/PALS/TNCC standards
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Experience with high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Departments or Level I/II trauma centers
- Strong triage, critical thinking, and trauma assessment skills
- Familiarity with common ED equipment and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary clinical settings
