• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Setting: Perioperative, Med/Surg Unit (perioperative nurse / med-surg RN)
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday (6:30am – 3:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1690–$1780/week
• Employment Type: Travel RN (travel nursing opportunity)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg and perioperative nursing (med-surg RN, perioperative nurse)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in perioperative settings preferred (pre-op, intra-op, post-op care)
• Must be willing to work on-site in Canton, GA (no local candidates within 50 miles)
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient care skills; teamwork and communication with surgical teams

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the perioperative and Med/Surg setting as a travel RN
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist with post-operative nursing care
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment with accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including surgeons, anesthesiology, and clinical support staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff consistent with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and perioperative nursing best practices
