Job Details
- Start Date: April 6, 2026
- End Date: July 6, 2026
- Orientation: 3 shifts of inpatient orientation plus meet-and-greet
- Float: Ability to float within specialty to multiple units and facilities (Boise, Meridian, Nampa)
ICU RN Requirements (Qualifications)
- Active RN license (must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Boise, ID 83712)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / critical care RN experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS and TNCC certifications required
- Comfortable charting in EPIC and documenting critical care interventions
- Ability to adapt quickly to new units and interdisciplinary teams
- Preferred: CCRN or other critical care certification (not required)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients across ICU settings as a Clinical Support Float Pool RN
- Float to ER, MedSurg, Telemetry, L&D/PP, and NICU units within your specialty as needed
- Administer and titrate critical drips and medications; manage ventilators and other critical care equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions using EPIC
- Participate in orientation, communication, and ongoing coordination with float pool leadership
- Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a safety-first approach while rotating across units
