  • Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (start time between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM; flexible if consistent and communicated with DOR)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • On-Call / Weekends: None
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,990–$2,140/week

Required Qualifications

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Missouri (OT license Missouri)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist; experience in Rehabilitation or Long-Term Care (LTC) required
  • Knowledge of NBCOT/AOTA standards and applicable state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
  • Strong clinical skills in ADL (activities of daily living) retraining, therapeutic activities, and use of assistive devices
  • Proficient documentation skills in electronic health record (EHR) / electronic record systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning impairments using standardized assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans of care that meet regulatory and clinical standards
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary OT interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device training
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans based on outcomes, and document results in the EHR
  • Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions and use standardized outcome measures to support continuity of care
  • Consult and educate patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members on functional goals and home safety
  • Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Participate in facility meetings, trainings, and in-services to support quality improvement
  • Supervise and mentor occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and OT students as needed
