• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Patient Ratio: 6:1
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,680–$1,770/week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Alabama RN license or Compact RN license eligible for Alabama (Registered Nurse)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience (medical-surgical nursing)
• Cerner EMR experience preferred (electronic medical record experience)
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Travel requirement: must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities / Clinical Duties

• Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and standards
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment (clinical documentation)
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, and support staff) to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
• Float to other units as required (flexible hospital RN duties)
