Radiology Technologist – EP Lab | Titusville, FL | 13-week travel assignment | ARRT/RCIS/RCES/CVT/RRT required; ACLS & BLS.

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,470 - $1,580

Embark on a 13-week travel radiology technologist assignment in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at a leading acute care hospital on Florida's Space Coast. Join a collaborative team working with Philips imaging and 3D mapping systems, charting in Meditech, and providing advanced cardiac electrophysiology care in Titusville, Florida.

Job Details

  • Position: Radiology Technologist – Electrophysiology / EP Lab (Travel)
  • Location: Titusville, FL 32796 (Space Coast / near Kennedy Space Center)
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 21, 2026 – July 21, 2026)
  • Setting: Acute Care Hospital – EP Lab (cardiac electrophysiology)
  • Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 4x10-hour shifts (06:00 – 16:30)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Weekend / Call: Every third weekend call coverage; no routine call but late case coverage (stay until case is closed)
  • Charting / Systems: Meditech
  • Equipment: Philips imaging and 3D cardiac mapping systems
  • Parking / Scrubs: Free parking (any unrestricted space); scrub color any (no emblem)
  • Candidate Location Requirement: Must reside more than 30 miles from facility (no local candidates)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year Radiology Technologist experience; 2 years preferred
  • EP Lab / cardiac electrophysiology technologist experience required, including scrubbing procedures
  • Credential: ARRT RT(R), RCIS, RCES, CVT, or RRT (one required)
  • Current ACLS and BLS (AHA)
  • Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
  • Proficient with EP studies, PPI (permanent pacemaker implants), AICD implantation, cardiac ablation, and cardiac mapping
  • Comfortable providing care for COVID+ patients; COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
  • Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers with 2+ years of applicable experience considered

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist, scrub, and circulate during electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker and AICD insertions, cardiac ablations, and conduction studies
  • Operate and maintain Philips imaging and 3D mapping equipment; ensure equipment readiness for EP lab and cardiac device implantation
  • Perform EKG lead placement, prep access sites, and monitor/interpret cardiac rhythms intra-procedurally
  • Maintain sterile technique and procedural responsibilities during EP cases
  • Document accurately in Meditech and maintain procedural logs and patient records
  • Stock supplies, manage inventory, and ensure optimal equipment condition and availability
  • Provide coverage for late cases and scheduled every third weekend call; adhere to all safety, isolation, and PPE protocols
