Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) travel assignment in Titusville, FL — 13-week acute care cardiac cath lab role for experienced interventional cardiology and electrophysiology (EP) nurses. Job Details

• Location: Titusville, FL 32796 (Space Coast, Brevard County)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1750-$1840/week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 21, 2026
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:00 – 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Yes – 2 weekdays and every third weekend (STEMI program call rotation)
• Weekend Requirement: No regular weekends, but part of call rotation
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Charting: Meditech version 6.08 (Meditech experience preferred)
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Cath Lab RN — Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience in interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization lab, or electrophysiology procedures
• Active FL RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA); NIHSS required or willing to obtain prior to start
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric cardiac patients
• Proficiency with Meditech charting preferred
• Must live more than 30 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Core Responsibilities

• Provide peri-procedural nursing care for cardiac catheterization, angiography, pacemaker/ICD insertion, cardiac mapping, ablation, and advanced EP procedures
• Prepare, assess, document, and monitor patients before, during, and after interventional cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer medications, monitor sedation, and respond to emergencies and STEMI activations as part of the on-call rotation
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams (cardiologists, radiology techs, anesthesia, and support staff) to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain infection prevention standards, adhere to hospital policies, and support quality and safety initiatives in the cath lab
• Demonstrate technical proficiency with cath lab equipment and assist with complex procedures and patient transfers
