Job Requirements / Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting (LTC experience preferred)
- Current BLS / CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident advocacy skills
- Comfortable with medication administration, wound care basics, and LTC documentation/EMR systems
- Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled (reliable availability for rotating weekends)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-focused nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Perform medication administration and treatments per provider orders and facility policy
- Monitor, assess, and document resident health status; report changes to RNs and the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other healthcare staff to implement care plans
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting resident dignity and independence
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and follow facility infection control protocols
