Job Details

• Location: Spokane Valley, WA 99212 — Serving Spokane County and lower Stevens County; convenient access to parks, outdoor recreation, and local arts.
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,150 - $2,310 per week
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract (Travel OT job)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Setting: Hospital / Home Health (hospital OT, home health OT)
• Start Date: March 23, 2026

Job Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in the state of Washington (WA)
• Minimum 1 year of home health OT experience within the past 3 years
• Familiarity with HCHB EMR preferred (electronic clinical documentation experience)
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload across hospital and home settings
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in hospital and home health environments
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving ADLs, IADLs, mobility, and independence
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and adaptive strategies to support patient function
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately in EMR systems (HCHB preferred)
• Collaborate with nurses, PTs, case managers, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Manage scheduling and caseload priorities while maintaining patient-centered outcomes
• Travel within Spokane County and lower Stevens County as needed for home health visits
