• Shift: 12-hour days (06:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

• Unit: Casa De Oro Center (Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing)

Job Requirements — Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico or eligibility through a Nursing Compact State
• Minimum 1 year of LPN clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar LTC setting
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts for the duration of the assignment
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary care coordination

Responsibilities — LPN Long-Term Care Duties

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care for adults and geriatric residents in a long-term care facility
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility policies
• Monitor, assess, and document resident health status, changes, and progress in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence and quality of life
• Follow facility policies, infection control procedures, and regulatory compliance standards
