Pediatric SLP needed in Rolla, MO (65401): 13-week hospital outpatient travel contract, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM. Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Job Details – Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
- Location: Rolla, Missouri (65401) — local Missouri SLP jobs / Rolla healthcare jobs
- Setting: Hospital Outpatient Pediatrics (may float to Med/Surg, ARU, SNU)
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract – Pediatric SLP (Speech Therapy Jobs)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- Dress Code: Any color scrubs or business casual
- Parking: Employee parking in Orange parking lots
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Missouri or eligibility to obtain prior to start (Missouri SLP license)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an SLP preferred; pediatric outpatient experience a plus
- Experience with pediatric speech therapy, articulation, language disorders, and feeding/swallowing evaluations preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR is beneficial — experience documenting in EPIC preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities – Pediatric SLP
- Provide evaluation and evidence-based speech and language therapy services to pediatric patients in a hospital outpatient setting
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement age-appropriate therapy interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, teachers, and family members to support patient-centered care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records using EPIC EMR
- Float to other units (Med/Surg, ARU, SNU) as needed and support cross-unit clinical needs
- Educate and empower children and their families with therapy goals, home programs, and community resources
