Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Setting: Community Hospital Cath Lab / Cardiac catheterization lab
• Job Title: Cath Lab RN / Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse / Travel Nurse (RN)
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (5x8-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40 (guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100-$2210
• Call Requirements: No after-hours or weekend call; staff may stay until procedures are complete
• Weekend Requirements: None
• Floating: May float to inpatient units for task-based support if Cath Lab volumes are low
• Charting: Meditech (experience preferred)
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience (first-time travelers accepted with Cath Lab experience)
• Active Registered Nurse license; must obtain Indiana RN license prior to start if not already held
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (pending certifications accepted with agreement to obtain before start)
• Community hospital Cath Lab experience required
• Experience with Meditech charting preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Strong telemetry, dysrhythmia recognition, and conscious sedation monitoring skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, circulating and assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation; assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Interpret and manage telemetry and dysrhythmias; respond to cardiac emergencies
• Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments, patient education, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiologists, techs, anesthesia) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to inpatient or pre/post units for task-based support as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and adhere to all infection prevention and safety protocols
