• Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Ideal Candidate: Med/Surg RN, Telemetry RN, or Registered Nurse with acute care experience
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 per week

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (New York State or compact, as applicable) — NYS RN preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing
• OR 2 years of experience (no testing required)
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Ability to float to other units / float pool as needed
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission (if less than 2 years' experience)
• Current BLS certification
• Professionalism, adaptability, and strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, RRTs, case management) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float between units to support hospital staffing needs and provide flexible clinical support
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR and maintain timely charting
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and dress code
