Travel MRI Technologist – Night Shift in Pittsfield, MA. 13-week travel MRI technologist assignment (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026) requiring ARRT (MR) certification and GE HDXT MRI experience. Work nights in a hospital radiology unit serving ~9 patients per shift while enjoying the cultural and outdoor attractions of the Berkshires.

• Shift: 8-hour nights, Monday–Friday (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — night shift MRI technologist
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Possible call coverage after midnight
• Teamwork: Always paired with another MRI Tech or MRI Aide; never solo
• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
• Holiday/OT: 1.25x multiplier

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience as an MRI Technologist or Radiology Technologist
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (MR) Certification – Required
• Active American Heart Association BLS Certification – Required
• Experience with GE HDXT MRI equipment (16.0 and 23.0) – Required
• Meditech Expanse experience – Highly preferred; experience with EHR documentation for radiology/MRI a plus
• Familiarity with MRI safety screening, patient positioning, and infection control best practices
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Must have own vehicle
• Cannot reside within 50 miles of facility (travel assignment requirement)
• Work history, skills checklist (current to 1 year), and 1 supervisory reference (within past 2 years) required
• All requested time off must be submitted at profile upload (max 5 days)

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams using GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI systems, producing high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate MRI equipment safely and follow MRI safety protocols for patients and staff
• Collaborate with MRI Aides, Technologists, Radiologists, and nursing staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Provide compassionate patient care, screening, and positioning for a variety of clinical indications
• Document procedures, exam notes, and patient information accurately in Meditech Expanse (EHR)
• Participate in on-call rotation, holiday coverage, and departmental meetings as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and ARRT standards
