Job Details

• Location: Waterloo, NY 13165 (Waterloo, New York; Finger Lakes area)
• Setting: Long Term Care Facility / Nursing Home (LTC nursing)
• Employment Type: Per Diem (Travel LPN / per diem nursing job)
• Contract Duration: 14 weeks (Start: 4/7/2026, End: 7/11/2026)
• Shift: 8-hour shifts (must be able to start full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday)
• Minimum Shift Requirement: 24 hours (or 3 shifts) within a 4-week period, with at least 2 shifts on weekends
• Estimated Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,450 - $1,520 per week

Required Qualifications (LPN Requirements)

• Active NY LPN Licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse, New York state)
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a Long Term Care facility, nursing home, or skilled nursing environment
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as required
• Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific care for adult and geriatric populations (geriatric nursing)

Responsibilities (LPN – Long Term Care)

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Collect, document, and communicate data relevant to residents’ physical and psychosocial condition
• Contribute to the development, revision, and implementation of individualized care plans
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive long term care
• Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice through continuing education
• Participate in mentoring, orientation, and training of new staff and nursing assistants
• Uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards in all aspects of resident care
• Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and clinical judgment within the scope of LPN practice
