• End Date: July 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Friday to Sunday, 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 – 19:00), NO CALL
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000–$2100/week
• Orientation: 3–4 days
• Charting System: Cerner (experience preferred)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
• Minimum 1 year recent Operating Room RN experience (2–3 years strongly preferred)
• Previous travel nursing experience required (Travel RN, Travel OR RN)
• Experience in a community hospital and Level II Trauma Center required
• LTAC experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred surgical experience: Robotic XI, orthopedic, spine/neuro, general/gyn, ENT, ophthalmology, urology, vascular, and trauma surgery
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to care for patients across the lifespan: neonates through geriatrics
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Note: Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients in a busy operating room.
• Function as circulating nurse and/or scrub for a broad range of surgical procedures, including robotic and specialty cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and perioperative workflows using Cerner (or other EHRs as required).
• Adhere to infection control, universal protocol, and safety standards in the OR.
• Participate in orientation, unit-based education, and competency validation as required.
• Demonstrate adaptability and strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced, high-acuity Level II Trauma Center environment.
