• Shifts: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM; 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Schedule Requirements: Every other holiday and every other weekend required

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (PA RN license)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, or mental health nursing
• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong communication, crisis intervention, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adults/adolescents with psychiatric and behavioral health needs
• Administer medications, including psychotropic medications, and monitor patient responses
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document observations in the patient chart/EHR
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Support patients and families with education, de-escalation techniques, and crisis intervention as needed
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment for all patients
