• Location: Allentown, PA 18104 (Lehigh Valley)
• Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry Unit
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Night shift – 3 x 12-hour shifts (6:45pm – 7:15am), 36 hours/week
• Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Employment Type: Local, On-site hospital RN role

Compensation

• Hourly Pay Rate: $81.84
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,980 - $2,080

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience in a hospital setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at submission
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient-focused skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for interdisciplinary collaboration

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and telemetry data
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive clinical environment for patients and staff
