• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Shifts: 5x8-hour day shifts with variable start times; includes on-call for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Housing: Shared housing provided (no guests or pets; car required)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2130 - $2250 per week

Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (able to practice as a Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) / perioperative nursing experience
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• Experience in surgical services preferred: thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute, pediatric PACU, and pediatric OR
• Willingness and ability to participate in on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Compliance with travel nursing onboarding: background check, health screenings, skills checklist, references, and facility-specific documentation
• Must be available for the full assignment with no requested time off (RTO)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative and intraoperative nursing care to patients in the Operating Room
• Assist with a wide variety of surgical procedures, including thoracic, pediatric, and sub-acute cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status throughout the perioperative process
• Respond to emergent surgical needs while on-call during nights, weekends, and holidays
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment and adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and perioperative best practices
