• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• Openings: 5 Registered Nurse (RN) positions
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1950-$2060/week

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be valid for assignment state)
• BLS certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• At least 1 year of ICU or critical care experience highly desired
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized LTAC care plans
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Supervise and provide direction to LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and patient rehabilitation programs
• Initiate discharge planning and provide patient/family education beginning at admission
• Promote patient and staff safety, adhering to all hospital safety policies and procedures
• Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity and safety
• Contribute to a positive team environment and participate in unit team-building activities
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education relevant to LTAC and critical care nursing
