• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour days (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM), Sunday, Monday, and Friday
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2340–$2510

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist certification or state license (ARRT (MR) preferred)
• Minimum 1 year recent experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or outpatient imaging center
• Proven ability to perform high-quality MRI exams and follow department protocols
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced hospital radiology environment
• Completion of required pre-employment health and background screenings (MMR, TB test, health statement, background checks, etc.)
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills for collaborating with radiologists and clinical staff

Responsibilities — MRI Technologist / MRI Tech

• Perform diagnostic MRI scans (per physician orders and department protocols) ensuring image quality and patient safety
• Prepare patients for MRI exams, review histories, screen for MRI safety, and provide clear instructions to optimize patient comfort
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and exam logs in the PACS/RIS system
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Follow hospital policies, infection control procedures, and regulatory standards for diagnostic imaging
