• Location: Great Barrington, MA 01230 (Berkshires region) — Western Massachusetts travel nursing job
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN), Travel / Travel Nurse
• Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36-hour guarantee
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020 - $2130 (travel nurse pay)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg RN experience — strong medical-surgical clinical skills required
• IV experience and competency required (IV therapy)
• Active Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with application)
• Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Current Medical-Surgical skills checklist (within 1 year)
• One supervisory signed reference from the past two years
• Traveler must have reliable transportation / own vehicle
• BSN preferred; PEARS certification preferred
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application (maximum 5 days)
• Block scheduling is not permitted

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients on the Med/Surg unit (medical-surgical nursing)
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and IV therapy
• Utilize critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Function independently under general guidance, following unit-specific policies and protocols
• Maintain emotional stability and professionalism during emergency situations
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document care accurately and participate in care planning and delegation
