Job Details

• Location: Delta, CO (81416) — Delta CO travel nurse and Colorado healthcare job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 2, 2026 – July 2, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights, weekends required (Emergency Department / ED)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel Nurse, Emergency Room)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930–$2030/week (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Requirements

• Current RN license to practice in the State of Colorado (must meet state licensure requirements)
• At least 1 year of experience in critical care or emergency nursing (2 years preferred) — ER RN / Emergency Department experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire
• ENPC or PALS required within 6 months (ENPC preferred for pediatric ED cases)
• TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year
• Specialty certification for ER nursing preferred (Emergency Nursing Certification encouraged)

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients in the emergency room (Emergency Department / ED)
• Triage patients and determine priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social needs
• Perform patient care tasks including moving patients, drawing blood, wound care, administering medications, and maintaining supplies
• Perform focused assessments of chief complaints according to established triage guidelines
• Carry out patient care according to hospital policies and procedures, functioning within the Nurse Practice Act
• Demonstrate strong time management, critical thinking, and adaptability in a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, coordinated patient care
