• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating weekends — night shift RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg, EXT-Other 911)
• Start Date: March 9, 2026
• End Date: June 8, 2026
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Contract RN
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,570 - $1,650 per week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg (medical-surgical) RN experience
• Required certifications: NIHSS, BLS (AHA), ACLS
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
• Available to work rotating weekends and 12-hour night shifts
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered care in the Med/Surg unit as a Medical-Surgical RN
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and clinical changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, support staff) to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and recovery
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and EMR documentation
