- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (2/16/2026 – 5/16/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:15 PM – 7:45 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Employment Type: Travel / Travel Nurse (Labor & Delivery RN)
- Unit: Labor & Delivery – Critical Need (L&D; High-Risk OB opportunities)
L&D RN Job Requirements – Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Hawaii
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification (e.g., NRP)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or related degree
- Preferred: 5+ years recent Labor & Delivery experience (within last 2 years)
- Preferred: 1 year of high-risk labor & delivery or High-Risk OB experience within last 2 years
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based maternal and newborn care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal monitoring, and manage high-risk situations
- Respond rapidly to emergencies and assist in resuscitation of newborns and maternal stabilization
- Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary care teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards
