• Location: Kealakekua, HI 96750 – Big Island, Kona coast (Hawaii nursing job)
• Start Date: April 13, 2026
• End Date: July 13, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (Night Shift Travel Nurse)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (72 hours every two weeks)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,130 - $2,250/week
• Setting: Med/Surg Adult, Telemetry Med/Surg, Med/Surg Pediatrics; float between two medical surgical/tele units and support MS overflow in ICU and ED

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Hawaii RN or compact license preferred) — Registered Nurse required
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg experience (Med/Surg RN / Telemetry RN experience)
• EPIC electronic medical record (EPIC EMR) experience required
• Ability to float between units and support ICU/ED overflow
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients on Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Float between two medical surgical/telemetry units and assist with Med/Surg overflow in ICU and ED as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, allied health, and nursing staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and interventions using EPIC EMR
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and implement appropriate nursing interventions
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment and support unit workflow during high-acuity situations
