• Setting: Pulmonary Unit (36-bed telemetry) — Telemetry RN / Pulmonary nurse role
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 12, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (19:00–07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours/week) — Guaranteed 36 hours
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Dress Code: Solid Navy Scrubs
• Parking: Available
• EMR: Meditech
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,840–$1,940

Job Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact RN license (no temporary licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (18 months total RN experience considered)
• Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed — flexibility valued for travel RNs

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Med/Surg and telemetry nursing care for patients with respiratory disorders and lung disease
• Monitor cardiac and respiratory status using telemetry and intervene promptly for changes in condition
• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy to coordinate pulmonary care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Meditech EMR
• Work every other weekend and required holidays as scheduled
• Float to other units and hospitals as staffing needs require
