• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1840 - $1940 per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00–07:00), every other weekend, holidays as required
• Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours/week available) — Guaranteed Hours: 36

• Dress Code: Solid Navy scrubs

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required (ADN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact state (no temporary licenses accepted)
• AHA BLS certification (or Red Cross equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, or related specialty
• 18 months overall RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed (float pool experience helpful)
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for acute and chronic respiratory conditions (pneumonia, COPD, shortness of breath, and other pulmonary diseases)
• Care for medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, occasional stroke, and post-surgical cases
• Maintain assigned nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:6 in the main unit and 1:4 in the step-down unit
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Float to other units and hospitals as required to meet patient care needs
• Adhere to facility dress code, documentation standards, and hospital policies
