Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico (87505) — Santa Fe healthcare / NM nursing jobs
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 5, 2026)
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — Night Shift Travel RN
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840-$1940/week

Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state RN license accepted
BLS Certification required
At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (medical-surgical nurse, registered nurse)
Current clinical knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served
Strong communication skills to interact clearly and concisely with patients, families, and healthcare staff

Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement patient-centered care specific to the age and needs of the population served
Provide high-quality, efficient, and safe medical-surgical nursing care consistent with unit standards
Demonstrate performance aligned with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and hospital
Maintain professionalism; treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect
Respond to emergencies and manage crisis situations as needed
Perform physical tasks including positioning, transferring patients, and safe equipment handling
Collaborate closely with the Patient Care Director or Nurse Manager and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
