Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience in interventional cardiology or vascular procedures
• Proficiency monitoring patients and using devices such as Philips laser systems, IVUS, OCT, and coronary/peripheral atherectomy devices
• Experience with Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and McKesson CPACS/Cardiology/Hemodynamic systems preferred
• Ability to rotate on-call schedule and work flexible hours as needed (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Relevant nursing certifications required (e.g., BLS; ACLS, PALS, or specialty cath lab certification preferred)

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor patients intra-procedure and provide hemodynamic and clinical assessment during cath and vascular interventions
• Assist with a broad mix of cardiac and peripheral procedures including Left/Right Heart Cath, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid diagnostics/stenting, pacemaker insertion, tilt table testing, kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic/stenting/thrombectomy
• Operate and support advanced cath lab equipment and imaging systems (IVUS, OCT, C-arm imaging, hemodynamic monitors)
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, transport patients, and coordinate with peri-procedural teams
• Participate in unit call rotation and assist with coverage during peak times and scheduled holidays

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Strong critical thinking and acute care assessment skills for interventional cardiology patients
• Familiarity with cath lab workflow, sterile technique, and radiation safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cardiology, interventional radiology, and surgical teams
