Job Details

• Location: Brunswick, Maine (Zip: 04011) — travel nursing opportunity, Mid-Coast Maine
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 11 beds — critical care / acute care environment
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) — Night Shift ICU RN / Critical Care RN
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2130 - $2250 per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site (ICU RN travel contract)
• Patient Ratio: 2-3:1, depending on acuity
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred)

Job Requirements (ICU RN Qualifications)

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse) — eligible to work in Maine
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU / critical care nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Ability to work night shifts and variable weekends
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication skills
• Experience with Epic EMR and documentation preferred

Responsibilities (ICU / Critical Care Nurse Duties)

• Provide high-quality critical care to patients with mixed acuity in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform nursing interventions as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient information accurately and timely in Epic EMR
• Respond to emergencies and follow established critical care and code protocols
• Maintain a professional, compassionate approach with patients and families during care and discharge planning
