• Location: Morrisville, VT (05661) — Vermont travel nursing job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 per week
• Shift Options: Varied/Rotating; choose between 4x10-hour shifts (7:00am–5:30pm or 8:00am–6:30pm) or 5x8-hour shifts (7:00am–3:30pm, 9:00am–5:30pm, 10:00am–6:30pm)
• On-Call Rotation: Once a week and every fifth weekend
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site — Operating Room / Surgical Nurse role
• Position Focus: Circulating nurse / perioperative nurse in the Operating Room

Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Active RN license (Nursing) — eligible to work in Vermont
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience (surgical nursing or perioperative experience preferred)
• Experience circulating in the Operating Room (circulating RN / perioperative nurse)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient safety focus

Responsibilities

• Function as a circulating Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) supporting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub techs
• Provide safe, patient-centered care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile technique, surgical counts, and adherence to perioperative protocols
• Anticipate surgical needs, prepare instrumentation, and facilitate efficient OR flow
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as scheduled
• Document patient information and perioperative events accurately and promptly
