Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (NY license only accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required (telemetry nursing, cardiac monitoring)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based medical-surgical nursing care across multiple acute care units as a travel nurse (locum tenens)
• Float between trauma, neuro, musculoskeletal, acute medicine, solid organ transplant, rehab, neurology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and adult admission units as needed
• Perform telemetry monitoring, assessment, medication administration, and documentation according to hospital and regulatory standards
• Participate in service excellence, professional development, and clinical research initiatives to support quality patient outcomes
• Assume expanded roles when assigned, including charge nurse duties, preceptor responsibilities, and committee participation
• Adapt to rotating shift schedules and unit needs, including weekends and holidays, while maintaining clinical competency and teamwork
