- Location: Lebanon, NH (Zip: 03766) — New Hampshire respiratory therapy jobs / travel respiratory therapist
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: Varied 12-hour shifts, including one 24-hour shift and one 12-hour night shift per week
- Employment Type: Travel / On-site
- Setting: Hospital — ICU, ED, Med-Surg, ventilator management, critical care RRT
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,890 - $2,030 per week
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in cardiopulmonary services, ICU and ventilator management
- Graduate of an AMA-Approved School of Respiratory Therapy
- Active RRT credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Active American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Current New Hampshire state RRT license required
- EPIC experience preferred (electronic medical record experience)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage shifts alone as a travel respiratory therapist
- Clinical experience with ventilators, ICU, ED, blood gases, floor therapies, nebulizers, and inhalers
- Must have reliable vehicle for assignment and local travel
- Current resume/work history and two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Note: CRT applicants will not be considered; RRT required
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory care services to critical care units and consultative services to medical and surgical floor units
- Manage mechanical ventilation within established guidelines, protocols, and physician orders (ventilator management)
- Perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and other blood gas analyses; conduct QA/QC and equipment maintenance
- Respond to codes, rapid response teams, emergencies, and patient transports as required
- Coordinate and communicate with physicians, nurses, allied health staff, patients, and families regarding respiratory treatments and plans of care
- Document patient interactions, treatments, and billing information accurately in the medical record (EPIC)
- Administer respiratory medications per written orders and monitor for adverse reactions
- Ensure respiratory equipment is functioning, maintained per manufacturer specifications, and ready for clinical use
