• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 to July 5, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), 3 shifts/week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Agency staff are not scheduled on holidays
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4 on standard Med/Surg units (may vary by acuity)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,930–$2,030

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the required state (PA)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience; telemetry experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong Epic electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
• Ability and willingness to float across multiple units and adapt to changing patient populations
• Demonstrated compliance with hospital policies, documentation standards, and medication safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered acute care across medical-surgical, step-down, and ED hold units
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in patient condition using strong clinical judgment
• Adapt quickly to varying unit workflows and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Function independently as a travel nurse while maintaining orientation at Main Campus and Women & Families units
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic and uphold medication safety standards
• Support a cohesive float pool by sharing best practices and assisting with unit transitions
