Travel Med/Surg RN – 13-week night shift in Lebanon, NH. Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) with EPIC EMR experience for a travel nursing job in the Upper Valley. Job Details
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000-$2100
- Location: Lebanon, NH 03766 — Travel nursing job in Upper Valley, New Hampshire
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
- Unit: Medical Surgical (19 beds) — Medical-Surgical RN role
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — Night shift travel RN
- Hours per Week: 36
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5, possible 1:7 on nights
- Dress Code: Any color scrubs
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR experience required
- Patient Population: Pediatric to Geriatric — diverse clinical exposure
- Non-Billable Orientation: 8 hours
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: As needed
Travel Nursing Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of current Medical-Surgical RN experience (Med/Surg RN)
- Previous travel nursing experience required (minimum 6 months)
- Experience with EPIC EMR (electronic health record)
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or Compact State (travel RN licensure)
- Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Supervisory signed reference within the past two years
- Skills checklist for Medical Surgical (current to 1 year)
- Ability to work posted schedule without shift accommodations
- Own vehicle required
- Telemetry / Progressive Care experience preferred
- "Local" travelers residing within 50 miles will not be considered
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care and individualized plans of care for diverse patient populations
- Formulate and revise care plans based on patient response and effectiveness
- Coordinate, delegate, and supervise patient care with the interdisciplinary team
- Organize and prioritize job functions efficiently during 12-hour night shifts
- Utilize assessment data to identify patient care needs, including education and discharge planning
- Recognize and report abnormal assessment data; incorporate findings into care plans
- Accurately document all patient care activities: wound assessment, patient teaching, progress notes, medication administration, and assessments in EPIC
