Job Details

• Location: Muscatine, Iowa (52761) — Muscatine County; Iowa travel nursing job
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — Night Shift Telemetry RN / Travel RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)
• Unit: Acute Care Unit (Med/Surg Telemetry / Stepdown)
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
• EMR: EPIC (experience with EPIC EMR preferred)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020–$2130

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg or Stepdown RN experience; telemetry experience preferred
• Comfortable caring for acute patient populations, including critical drips/gtts and Bipap management
• Experience documenting in EPIC EMR
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or Illinois (must meet state RN licensure requirements)
• Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Up-to-date work history / resume and license verification
• Copy of required certifications and 1 supervisory reference
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg Telemetry/Stepdown unit
• Monitor and manage acute and telemetry patient populations, including titration of critical gtts/drips and respiratory support (Bipap)
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed and be prepared to float to the ER when required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Accurately document patient care and clinical assessments in EPIC EMR
• Participate in orientation, competency validation, and ongoing training during the travel assignment
