Job Details – Home Health RN / Hospice RN

• Location: Missoula, MT (59808) — Missoula homecare and home health nursing opportunity
• Setting: Homecare (Home Health RN, Hospice RN, Homecare RN)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 13, 2026 – June 12, 2026)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with on-call rotation
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel RN / Travel Nurse)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2050–$2150

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Montana (required for Home Health RN / Hospice RN roles)
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and appropriate auto insurance (essential for homecare visits)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care, home care, or hospice nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• Clinical skills in venipuncture, catheterization, wound care, and/or parenteral therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Previous home health documentation experience (OASIS) and case management preferred
• Experience supervising Home Health Aides or CNAs

Key Responsibilities – Homecare RN / Home Health Nurse

• Provide skilled nursing care and case management for patients in their homes as a Homecare RN / Home Health RN
• Admit patients onto services, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and ensure continuity of care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process in home health and hospice settings
• Oversee and supervise care provided by Home Health Aides and CNAs
• Maintain accurate, complete patient records and home health documentation in accordance with agency standards and OASIS requirements
• Participate in team scheduling, on-call rotation, and quality improvement activities
• Promote optimal health and quality of life through patient and family teaching, counseling, and appropriate clinical interventions
• Attend in-service training and contribute to clinical best practices for home health nursing
