• Location: Jacksonville, IL 62650 — Jacksonville healthcare opportunities, central Illinois nursing jobs.
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1820-$1920/week
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (08:00 – 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Setting: Outpatient Infusion Clinic — IV infusion therapy, oncology/hematology supportive care
• Charting: Cerner (experience with Cerner preferred)
• Scrub/Attire: Business casual or plain solid scrubs
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient RN experience — infusion clinic or ambulatory care experience preferred
• Active Illinois RN license in hand (compact license not acceptable unless active IL RN)
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross only)
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Travel RN experience required
• Ability to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Strong skills in infusion therapy, medication reconciliation, pain assessment, patient teaching, and universal precautions
• Must be able to complete compliance requirements and modules on time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient infusion clinic — administer IV antibiotics and supportive care for hematology/oncology patients
• Perform routine dressing changes, lab draws for PICC/Midlines, and catheter changes
• Obtain and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and patient health histories
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, infusion side-effect management, and health maintenance
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and outpatient infusion best practices
