• Location: Duncan, OK 73533 — Oklahoma travel nursing, travel nurse position
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 9, 2026 – July 9, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,500–$1,580/week
• Employment Type: Travel Contract — Travel Registered Nurse / Travel Nurse (ER)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:2–3
• Unit: Emergency Department (ED), 19 beds
• Orientation: 16 hours

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience — Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oklahoma or compact state) — pending licenses not accepted
• Travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers not accepted
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, ISTAT, ENPC
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center and Stroke Certified Facility preferred
• Meditech charting experience preferred
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities — Emergency Department RN / ER RN Duties

• Provide high-quality emergency care across the lifespan: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform triage, rapid assessment, and treatment for a wide range of ER complaints including trauma, stroke, psychiatric evaluations, abdominal emergencies, pediatric fevers, ortho injuries, and respiratory distress
• Manage and monitor central lines, arterial lines, and ventilated patients
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, administer blood products, IV sedation, and procedural sedation
• Utilize isolation precautions and PPE; adhere to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and support unit staffing as required
• Participate in weekend coverage every other weekend
