Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,820–$2,970
• Location: Peoria, IL 61637 (Peoria, Illinois / Central Illinois travel nursing)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 – June 29, 2026)
• Shift: 4 days per week, 9-hour day shifts (hours between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirement: Primary and secondary call, 6–8 shifts in 6 weeks (includes weekends and holidays; 30-minute response time)
• Dress Code: Surgical scrubs provided
• Charting System: EPIC

Key Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license (or application in progress) — Illinois nursing jobs and travel nurse candidates encouraged to apply
• At least 1 year of acute care RN experience (ED, ICU, or procedural preferred) — acute care, critical care, or emergency nursing experience valued
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with EKG interpretation and drip titration
• Ability to produce a negative drug screen for all panels

Responsibilities (Interventional Radiology Nursing)

• Provide direct patient care in Interventional Radiology including pre-op, intraprocedural, and phase 2 recovery
• Assist with procedures such as GI bleed interventions, stroke interventions, biopsies, central line placements, drains, and vascular interventions
• Monitor and interpret EKGs, manage vasoactive drips, and respond to emergent situations
• Support vascular and neuro-interventional procedures with sterile technique and peri-procedural nursing skills
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team — IR techs, radiologists, charge nurses, and anesthesia
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and ensure compliance with departmental policies
• Participate in department-specific orientation and adhere to surgical dress code
