Job Details

• Location: Corvallis, Oregon (97330) — Corvallis, OR travel nursing job
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2310 - $2440
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 12, 2026 – June 11, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed minimum 36 hours, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts; days with occasional weekends
• Employment Type: Travel, On-site (Travel Nurse / CVOR RN)

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license (required upon submission)
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS (required)
• AHA ACLS (required)
• Minimum 1 year experience as a circulating nurse in the Operating Room OR completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class
• 2 years experience in ICU/PCU and/or medical-surgical acute care setting

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year CVOR / Open Heart experience preferred (cardiac OR experience)
• ICU experience preferred
• Scrubbing experience preferred (scrub nurse experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative and cardiovascular care to surgical and procedural sedation patients in the Operating Room
• Serve as circulating nurse and assist during cardiovascular surgical procedures, including open-heart and vascular cases
• Maintain sterile technique and a safe OR environment consistent with infection control and surgical standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams — surgeons, anesthesiology, perfusionists, and perioperative staff — to optimize patient outcomes
• Care for patients across the lifespan: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly, including same-day admissions and discharges
• Participate in occasional weekend shifts as needed
