Job Details – Emergency Nurse / Travel Nursing

• Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Emergency Nurse
• Location: Colebrook, NH (zip 03576) — New Hampshire nursing jobs, travel nursing in Colebrook
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 2, 2026 – July 2, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel nurse assignment
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Unit: Emergency Department (ED) with floating to Med/Surg Stepdown

Required Qualifications – ER RN / Emergency Room Nurse

• Minimum 2 years current Emergency Room nursing (ER RN) experience
• Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (NH RN license)
• Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Current TNCC certification
• Ability to float to Med/Surg Stepdown and manage Stepdown patients
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
• Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
• Completed Emergency Room skills checklist
• All licenses and certifications must be current at time of submission

Responsibilities – Emergency Department Nurse

• Provide high-quality emergency patient care during night shifts in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Assess, triage, and manage acute and emergent patient conditions as an ER RN
• Float to Med/Surg Stepdown as needed and support both ED and critical access charge duties
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
• Assist with Med/Surg patients and accept Stepdown assignments when scheduled
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and emergency nursing best practices
