Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts and in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Experience with trauma, acute care, and emergency interventions strongly desired

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department (ER)
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per orders and protocol
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently
• Respond to emergencies, perform life-saving interventions, and assist in trauma resuscitations
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
