Job Details — Travel Nurse OR RN

• Location: Sioux City, Iowa (Sioux City, IA; zip 51104)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (0615 start), Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: 1 evening per week, holidays, and 1 weekend per month (3:30 PM–7:00 AM)
• Patient Ratio: 3:1
• Setting: Surgery — outpatient surgeries and infusion patients
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR

Qualifications — OR RN / Perioperative Nurse (Required)

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience; travel nurse experience required
• Active Iowa RN license (or ability to obtain)
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• EPIC EMR experience
• Mandatory Reporter certification
• CNOR certification preferred
• Driver’s license
• Work history / resume and skills checklist (completed within 1 year)
• License verification and copy of required certifications
• 1 supervisory reference
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility

Key Responsibilities — Surgical RN / Perioperative Duties

• Provide professional, patient-centered perioperative care as part of an interdisciplinary surgical team
• Assist with outpatient surgeries and infusion therapies (blood, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, antibiotics — no chemotherapy)
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to call-back situations
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment and support quality surgical outcomes
